Universal announced earlier today at CinemaCon in Las Vegas that Fast & Furious 7 will arrive in theaters across the United States on July 11, 2014. The film, which is expected to reunite stars Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, will be directed by James Wan (Saw, Insidious).
Universal also revealed that it has hired writer Kay Cannon to work on a sequel to Jason Moore's Pitch Perfect. The sequel is expected to arrive in theaters in 2015.
Note: Justin Lin's Fast & Furious 6 stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and Elsa Pataky. It opens in the United States on May 24th.
