Lionsgate has released the first trailer for director Francis Lawrence's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Donald Sutherland, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Toby Jones and Stanley Tucci. The highly anticipated sequel to 2012's The Hunger Games is based on the young adult novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins, and is set to arrive in U.S. theaters on November 22nd.
Official Synopsis: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Hutcherson). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow (Sutherland) prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell), a competition that could change Panem forever.
