New Video Group's Red vs. Blue package includes ten full seasons of the popular comedy web series, which follows the goofy adventures of Red Team and Blue Team, two units inspired by the multiplayer mode in the popular Halo video game franchise.
The Gold Box deal presents the fourteen-disc bundle at a 67% markdown from its SRP of $179.95; the Blu-rays are remastered in 1080i and carry 5.1 Dolby Digital audio tracks alongside a generous assortment of supplementary features, such as audio commentaries on selected episodes, outtakes, and deleted scenes.
Through April 6th, Amazon is offering Red vs. Blue for $59.99.
In addition, Paramount Home Media Entertainment's Borgias set is also on sale. Created by The Crying Game and Interview with the Vampire director Neil Jordan, the series stars Jeremy Irons (Dead Ringers) as Rodrigo, the scheming head of the Borgia family who uses his taste for power and manipulation to become Pope Alexander VI in sixteenth century Italy.
This three-disc set presents the series in its broadcast aspect ratio of 1.78:1 with 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio tracks and a number of sample episodes for other Showtime series, including Dexter, Gigolos, Californication, House of Lies, and Episodes.
The Borgias: The Complete First Season is $29.99, or 55% of its MSRP of $65.99.
Deals expire at 12 AM PST/3 AM EST next Sunday, April 7th.
