Lionsgate Films has released the first trailer for director Adam Wingard's You're Next, starring Sharni Vinson, AJ Bowen, Joe Swanberg, Barbara Crampton, Ti West, Wendy Glenn, Nicholas Tucci, Kate Lyn Sheil, Amy Seimetz and Rob Moran. The home invasion horror film opens in U.S. theaters on August 23rd.
Official Synopsis: You're Next reinvents the genre by putting a fresh twist on home-invasion horror. When a gang of masked, ax-wielding murderers descend upon the Davison family during a wedding anniversary getaway, the hapless victims seem trapped... until an unlikely guest of the family proves to be the most talented killer of all.
The film, which debuted at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival, is a Lionsgate and Snoot Films acquisition and presentation in association with Hanway Films, from a script by screenwriter Simon Barrett, with cinematography from Andrew Droz Palermo and music by Andrew Palmero.
