BBC Home Entertainment has announced the three-disc Blu-ray release of Doctor Who: Series Seven, Part Two, which features the 2012 Christmas special, "The Snowmen," as well as the next eight episodes in the long-running science fiction show. The second half of Series Seven arrives on May 28th.
Official Synopsis: The Doctor kicks off this new run of adventures by searching for his companion Clara (Jenna-Louise Coleman), an Impossible Girl he's already lost twice. Together they find themselves battling monsters on distant alien planets, trapped in a Russian submarine with a deadly passenger, chasing terrifying ghosts, delving into the heart of the TARDIS, facing the Crimson Horror in Victorian Yorkshire, and coming face to face with an army of upgraded Cybermen. The action grows and the Doctor's oldest secret threatens to be revealed as the world's longest running sci-fi series builds toward its explosive 50th anniversary in November of 2013. Also appearing this season are guest stars Dougray Scott, Warwick Davis, Celia Imrie, Richard E. Grant, Jessica Raine and Tamzin Outhwaite. Additionally, mother and daughter Dame Diana Rigg and Rachael Stirling will appear on screen together for the first time.
