Blancanieves Wins Big at the Goya Awards

Pablo Berger's film Blancanieves, which was selected to represent Spain at the Academy Awards, won ten awards at the Spanish Film Academy's Goya Awards, including Best Film, Best Actress (Maribel Verdú), Best New Actress (Macarena García). The Best Director award went to Antonio Bayona for his excellent drama The Impossible.
