Independent British distributors New Wave Films have acquired the rights to two Berlinale screened films: Danis Tanovic's
An Episode in the Life of an Iron Picker (2012), starring Nazif Mujic, Senada Alimanovic, and Semsa Mujic, and Jafar Panahi's
Closed Curtain (2013), starring Maryam Moqadam, Jafar Panahi, and Hadi Saeedi.
Note: In 2002, Danis Tanovic's
No Man's Land won Oscar Award for Best Foreign Language Film (Bosnia). In the UK and U.S., the film is currently available only on DVD. See our listings
