Independent U.S. distributors Magnolia Pictures has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to controversial Danish director Lars von Trier's highly anticipated new film
Nymphomaniac (2013). The film stars Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgard, Shia LaBeouf, Uma Thurman and Jamie Bell.
Magnolia Pictures also distributed von Trier's excellent
Melancholia, which won Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival. The film stars Kirsten Dunst, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Kiefer Sutherland.
