Sony Expected to Announce PlayStation 4 in February

Sony is apparently getting ready to announce its PlayStation 4 (PS4) console on February 20th in New York City. At least this is how many industry sources are interpreting a new 45-second video clip that has been leaked on the Internet.

According to an article published by The Hollywood Reporter, a Sony spokesperson in Tokyo has declined to confirm or deny that an official PS4 announcement is less than a month away.

Earlier this year, Sony also announced that it would cease production of its PS2, the best-selling console of all time, a move which various industry analysts interpreted as a confirmation that the PS4 will be launched soon.
