Fox Searchlight has released a trailer for director Zal Batmanglij's indie thriller The East (2013). The film had its premiere last week at the Sundance Film Festival, and will have a nationwide theatrical release later this year.
Written by Zal Batmanglij and Brit Marling (Sound of My Voice) and starring Ellen Page, Alexander Skarsgård and Brit Marling, The East tells the story of a female agent from a private security film contracted by large corporations who infiltrates an anarchist group known as The East.
