StudioCanal have released the first trailer for acclaimed director Terrence Malick's latest film To The Wonder (2012), starring Rachel McAdams, Olga Kurylenko, Ben Affleck, and Javier Bardem. The film is set to open in theaters across the United Kingdom on February 22. Its U.S. premiere is set for April 12th.
To The Wonder was screened at the Venice Film Festival earlier this year where it won SIGNIS Award (Terrence Malick).
After visiting Mont Saint-Michel - once known in France as "the Wonder" - at the height of their love, Marina and Neil come to Oklahoma, where problems soon arise. Marina makes the acquaintance of a priest and fellow exile, who is struggling with his vocation, while Neil renews his ties with a childhood friend, Jane. An exploration of love in its many forms.
Note: The following films directed by Terrence Malick are already available on Blu-ray Days of Heaven, The Thin Red Line, The New World, and The Tree of Life. Badlands will be released by the Criterion Collection on March 19th.
