Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of four 2003-2009 Warner Bros. Animation
Scooby-Doo! movies:
Scooby-Doo and the Legend of the Vampire,
Scooby-Doo and the Monster of Mexico,
Scooby-Doo and the Loch Ness Monster and
Scooby-Doo and the Samurai Sword. All four mysteries are set to arrive on Blu-ray on March 12, 2013.
- Scooby-Doo and the Legend of the Vampire (2003) - On vacation in Australia, Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang attend a music festival held at Vampire Rock. But the music goes flat when the gang learns that a legendary Australian creature called the Yowie Yahoo is kidnapping the musical acts and turning them into vampires! Masquerading as a heavy metal band, Scooby-Doo and the gang must survive a trio of rock-and-roll vampires if they want to crack the outlandish Outback mystery surrounding The Legend of the Vampire!
- Scooby-Doo and the Monster of Mexico (2003) - Scooby-Doo and the gang visit a friend in Mexico to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Unfortunately, a monster appears and begins terrorizing the town. Looks like a job for Scoob, Shag, Fred, Daphne and Velma, your favorite meddling kids!
- Scooby-Doo and the Loch Ness Monster (2004) - Scooby-Doo, Shaggy and the Mystery Inc. crew travel to Scotland on vacation and find themselves unexpectedly tackling their biggest monstrosity ever: the Loch Ness Monster. Does it really exist? Early evidence suggests a scary "yes" when something gigantic appears outside the window of Daphne's ancestral family castle. Will Scooby-Doo and crew solve one of history's longest-running mysteries?
- Scooby-Doo and the Samurai Sword (2009) - The gang of Mystery Inc. take a trip to Japan and find themselves circling Asia and the Pacific in a treasure hunt, racing against the vengeful Black Samurai and his Ninja warriors to find the legendary Sword of Fate, an ancient blade fabled to possess extraordinary supernatural powers.
The March block of classic
Scooby Doo! titles follows the previously announced February 26th original-movie release of
Scooby Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon.
