For the week of May 18th, Disney and 20th Century Studios will release Avatar: Fire and Ash on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and 4K UHD. Other new releases include Fallout: Season Two (2025-2026) from Alliance Entertainment, The Bride! from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Scarlet (2025) from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Arco, Sirât and Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience from Decal Releasing, The Yeti from Well Go USA and both Reminders of Him and The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Catalog titles include 4K UHD upgrades for The Front and The Walk (2015) from Sony, Body Heat from Criterion, Ginger Snaps (2000) from Lionsgate Home Entertainment and Speed Racer (2008) from Warner.

Magnolia Home Entertainment has detailed its upcoming 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Ben Wheatley's Normal (2026), starring Bob Odenkirk, Lena Headey, Brendan Fletcher, Henry Winkler, and Peter Shinkoda. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on July 14.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic's The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026), featuring the voices of Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black, Charlie Day, and Keegan-Michael Key. For the week that ended on May 2nd, Black Bear's Shelter (2026) rose up a spot to top the Blu-ray-only chart in its second week, while second and third place went to Arrow Video's releases of Innerspace and Soldier (1998), which were also the week's top two 4K UHD releases.

For the week that ended on October 7th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales debuted at the top of the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. The newest entry in the popular Pirates of the Caribbean series, Dead Men Tell No Tales did not make the same impact as many of its predecessors, grossing $172 million domestically on top of its estimated $230-million production budget.

The Redemption label confirmed today that it is preparing various new titles for Blu-ray release. Amongst them are Jean Rollin's Dracula's Fiancee (2002) and Sabu's Miss Zombie (2013). There are no preliminary street dates for the these releases, but they are expected to arrive on the market in early 2018.

Kino Repertory have provided us with an official domestic trailer for the recent 4K restoration of acclaimed director Andrei Tarkovsky's final film The Sacrifice (1986), starring Susan Fleetwood, Allan Edwall, Erland Josephson, Sven Wollter, and Guðrún Gísladóttir.
