Blu-ray Sales: April 12-18: Godzilla Minus One, Brian Cohen of Judea: 4K

For the week that ended on April 18th, Toho's Godzilla Minus One rose up and crushed the Blu-ray-only chart, while Alliance Entertainment's Mercy (2026) remained in second place in its second week on shelves and Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Greenland 2: Migration remained in third place in its third week. Fourth place went to the Criterion Collection's remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD releases of Monty Python's Life of Brian.

This Week on Blu-ray: April 27-May 3

For the week of April 27th, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release Dust Bunny on 4K UHD. Other new releases include Highest 2 Lowest from A24, Grafted from Shudder, Cold Storage from Samuel Goldwyn Films, Great Absence from Film Movement and Plan 75 from KimStim. Catalog titles include Blu-rays from the Warner Archive Collection, Badge 373 from Cinématographe, Something's Gotta Give from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and 4K UHD releases for Hold that Ghost and Throw Momma from the Train from Kino Lorber, The Grapes of Death and The Living Dead Girl from Indicator, Innerspace and Soldier (1998) from Arrow Video and John Singleton's Hood Trilogy (1991-2001) from the Criterion Collection.

Hoppers 4K Blu-ray

Disney will release on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Daniel Chong's Hoppers (2026), featuring the voices of Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Meryl Streep, and Dave Franco. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on June 2.

Home Entertainment's Over the Garden Wall: The Complete Series (2014) topped the Blu-ray-only chart, while the weeks top 4K UHD release, Alliance Entertainment's Mercy (2026) took second place and third place went to Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Greenland 2: Migration in its second week.

This Week on Blu-ray: July 5-11

The week of July 5th is a slower one, largely made up of catalog titles. Perhaps the biggest release is Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Space Jam, one of three titles being upgraded to 4K UHD. However, Paramount Home Media Distribution will bring a remastered Blu-ray of 48 Hrs. and the Blu-ray premiere of its sequel, Another 48 Hrs. to the Paramount Presents lineup, while the Criterion Collection will release Howard Hawks' Bringing Up Baby for the first time on Blu-ray.
