Anaconda (2025) 4K Blu-ray

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Tom Gormican's Anaconda (2025), starring Paul Rudd, Jack Black, Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, and Daniela Melchior. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on March 17.

Blu-ray Sales: January 11-17: TRON: Ares Still Top of the Charts in Second Week

For the week that ended on January 17th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's TRON: Ares remained on top of the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and UHD Sellers charts in its second week. Second place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Lionsgate Home Entertainment's 1408, which was released on 4K UHD this week, while third place remained with Lionsgate's Dogma.

Zootopia 2 4K Blu-ray (UPDATED)

Disney is preparing a Blu-ray release of Jared Bush and Byron Howard's Zootopia 2 (2025), featuring the voices of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Ke Huy Quan, Fortune Feimster, and Andy Samberg. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on March 3.

This Week on Blu-ray: January 26-February 1

For the week of January 26th, Music Box Films will release A Little Prayer on Blu-ray. Other new releases include The Thing with Feathers from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Trifole from Cohen Media Group. Catalog titles include Red Dust (1932) and The Narrow Margin from the Warner Archive Collection, Blood of Revenge and a new edition of Illustrious Corpses from Radiance Films and 4K UHD upgrades for The Mechanic (1972) and The Rolling Stones: Let's Spend the Night Together from Kino Lorber, Kiss of the Spider Woman (1985), House Party (1990) and Birth (2004) from the Criterion Collection and Marry Me from Universal.

Kino Lorber have revealed that they are preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Paul Leni's The Cat and the Canary (1927), starring Laura La Plante, Creighton Hale, Forrest Stanley, Tully Marshall, and Gertrude Astor. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market in late October.

Catalog titles include Shaw Brothers Classics: Vol. Seven (1973-1980) from Shout Factory and 4K UHD upgrades for Sunset Boulevard and Better Off Dead from Paramount Home Media Distribution, The Burmese Harp (1956) and Fires on the Plain from the Criterion Collection, Convoy (1978) from Kino Lorber, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World from 20th Century Studios, Wolf Children from Shout and Late Night with the Devil from IFC Films.

A 4K Blu-ray release was pre-announced in 2020, but the label and its partners were unable to locate the original camera negatives, and the project was canceled.
