Alliance Entertainment will release on Blu-ray Gus Van Sant's new film, Dead Man's Wire (2026), starring Bill Skarsgård, Al Pacino, Colman Domingo, Cary Elwes, and Dacre Montgomery. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on July 7.

Blu-ray Sales: April 12-18: Godzilla Minus One, Brian Cohen of Judea: 4K

For the week that ended on April 18th, Toho's Godzilla Minus One rose up and crushed the Blu-ray-only chart, while Alliance Entertainment's Mercy (2026) remained in second place in its second week on shelves and Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Greenland 2: Migration remained in third place in its third week. Fourth place went to the Criterion Collection's remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD releases of Monty Python's Life of Brian.

This Week on Blu-ray: April 27-May 3

For the week of April 27th, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release Dust Bunny on 4K UHD. Other new releases include Highest 2 Lowest from A24, Grafted from Shudder, Cold Storage from Samuel Goldwyn Films, Great Absence from Film Movement and Plan 75 from KimStim. Catalog titles include Blu-rays from the Warner Archive Collection, Badge 373 from Cinématographe, Something's Gotta Give from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and 4K UHD releases for Hold that Ghost and Throw Momma from the Train from Kino Lorber, The Grapes of Death and The Living Dead Girl from Indicator, Innerspace and Soldier (1998) from Arrow Video and John Singleton's Hood Trilogy (1991-2001) from the Criterion Collection.

Hoppers 4K Blu-ray

Disney will release on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Daniel Chong's Hoppers (2026), featuring the voices of Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Meryl Streep, and Dave Franco. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on June 2.

For the week that ended on August 28th, Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard again topped both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts, this time topping Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, which came in second on both charts. Meanwhile, third place on both charts went to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Peter Rabbit 2.

For the week of September 6th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Zack Snyder's Justice League on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include Young Sheldon: The Complete Fourth Season on Blu-ray, but otherwise, it's a strong week for catalog titles, as Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will upgrade The Thing to 4K UHD, while Paramount Home Media Distribution has a 4K UHD upgrade for Star Trek: The Original 4-Movie Collection.
