This Week on Blu-ray: March 9-15

For the week of March 9th, Shout Factory and GKIDS will release Little Amélie or the Character of Rain on Blu-ray. Other new releases include Resident Alien: Season Four from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, the anime series Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time from Crunchyroll and I'm Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? from Sentai Filmworks (all 2025), My Neighbor Adolf from Cohen Media Group and Little Trouble Girls from Kino Lorber. Catalog titles include a Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for Viridiana (1961) from the Criterion Collection, a Blu-ray for Picture of a Nymph from 88 Films and 4K UHD upgrades for Somewhere in Time from Kino and The Devil's Advocate from Shout.

Blu-ray Sales: February 15-21: Predator: Badlands Hunts Down the Competition in Debut

For the week that ended on February 21st, Disney and 20th Century Studios' Predator: Badlands topped the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and UHD Sellers charts in its first week, while Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Now You See Me: Now You Don't took second and third place on the Blu-ray-only charts in a week which saw several new releases, as well as major 4K UHD upgrades like Ben-Hur (1959) and All the President's Men from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

Gone with the Wind 4K Blu-ray

Entertainment has revealed that it is preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Victor Fleming's Gone with the Wind (1939), starring Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Leslie Howard, Olivia de Havilland, and Thomas Mitchell. An image posted on social media by the major confirms that the release is scheduled to arrive on the market in the Fall.
