X-Men: Dark Phoenix 4K Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras

20th Century Fox's SteelBook release of Dark Phoenix includes exclusive artwork by longtime comic book artist Bill Sienkiewicz. The
SteelBook's exterior has a flat, textured finish. The front panel is black through the background. The film's title in white letters appears towards the
top; the "X" in "Phoenix" is encircled; the entire thing has the feel The X-Files about it. A flaming phoenix appears center in fiery hot
yellows and oranges. A darker mass of red coloring appears behind it, giving the feel of fire and anger and intensity. The rear panel is more streamlined
but similar in carrying over the black background color and texture while the small center image is of an "X" in a similar fiery color scheme to what's
seen on the front. A block of legalese and a Marvel logo are found at the bottom. The spine is also a flat black with the film's title appearing along the
center in the same style as the front. A 20th Century Fox logo
appears at the top.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features an intensely red and orange and yellow barrage of colors that give the
feel of hellacious pain and distress. On the left is a depiction of Jean Gray/Phoenix, topless and covering her chest with crossed arms. Bottom left is a
depiction of a contemplative Professor X and on the right is a visual of angry Magneto, left hand extended as if trying to push away the burning
flames.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

This is a plus SteelBook. It's not a fingerprint magnet, it's not slippery, and it's a good blend of messy meets minimalist on the outside while exploding
on the inside. Fans will find the on-disc content first class too, so to speak. Recommended.
