Overview

World Without End (2012)

TV adaptation of the Ken Follett novel following the fortunes of an English town in the 1300s. As King Edward III prepares to lead England into a ruinous war with France that will last for a century, the residents of Kingsbridge have a different vision of the future. Led by the inspirational Caris and her lover Merthin, they attempt to resist the power of the Catholic Church and the English Crown and forge their own destiny.
