Whiplash 4K Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras

Sony's SteelBook is glossy and smooth; it will readily display handling fingerprints, particularly on the black background that covers much of the front
panel. The film's title appears in blood red top center, with the "I" and P" dripping down to reveal a pair of drumsticks. Actor names Miles Teller and J.K.
Simmons appear above in white. The drumsticks are positioned above a top-down view of a white drum with blood splattered all over the middle. The
rear
panel is a deep red color. All that's on it is a drumstick extending right to left a bit below center. Andrew is standing on the edge, perhaps contemplating
his future as a drummer and fate as a human being as he suffers under Fletcher's overbearing tutelage. The spine is a black color with the film's title
center in red reflective lettering. A white Sony logo has been placed at the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features a simple metallic red scheme; there is no imagery of any kind.

featureless.
Whiplash 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

Whiplash's SteelBook is practically perfect. It's subtle but captures the film's essence quite well. The lack of an interior print is disappointing
but the outside is great, as is the UHD presentation. Very highly recommended.
