Two amiably aimless metal-head friends, Wayne and Garth, broadcast a talk-show from Wayne's basement on local public access television. The show comes to the attention of a sleazy network executive who wants to produce a big-budget version — but he also wants Wayne's girlfriend, a rock singer named Cassandra. Based on the recurring Saturday Night Live sketch of the same name.

Paramount has widely released a UHD SteelBook packaging variant for the 1992 Comedy 'Wayne's World.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the UHD wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Note that, for this release, Paramount has simply recycled the SteelBook from the Blu-ray version which was released earlier this year.
Apparently, orange is the new Wayne. The SteelBook is interestingly designed, blasting out a bright orange color that features Wayne and Garth
on the front in that classic top-down photo that's been so prominent in the film's advertising materials over the past three decades. The film's title
appears in large white letters below them. All around the SteelBook are various quotes from the film in something along the lines of bronze/gold colors.
The rear panel is much the same, with a Wayne and Garth photo center. More orange and more quotes litter the panel. Both panels are glossy-smooth
but won't show much fingerprinting outside of the black areas. The spine is orange with the film's title in white, center. It is flanked by a white
Paramount
logo at the top.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The lone UHD disc is situated on the right on a central hub. The inner print
is a two-panel spread that features the classic image depicting Wayne and Garth at the bottling factory.

This is a SteelBook that will stand out on the shelf. It's nice enough, but what is really nice is the A/V presentation on the disc inside. Recommended!
