Universal and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive SteelBook release for the 2022 Christmas Action/Horror film 'Violent Night.' Universal's SteelBook is matte and the front panel is framed by a fully debossed center portion that fills the majority of the panel. It's a dark panel with Santa sitting on a roof in full Santa regalia. A cigar is in his mouth, a mallet is in his right hand, and his sack is on the bottom left. He's sitting in front of a full moon. The film's title appears bottom center, the word "Violent" in white and "Night" in red. Both are embossed. On the back is a picture of Santa in profile, drenched in red blood color. He is looking sternly to the right. Snow flurries are falling. The background is dark. The spine is black with the film's title in the same color and type as the front, center. A white Universal logo appears at the bottom.

Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features Santa on the left, standing in front of his sleigh. More of the sleigh is visible on the right, including a lantern; it is in front of a dark, wooded backdrop.

Fans are going to love this SteelBook. It feels good, it looks good, there's some embossing and debossing work, and the focus is fully on Santa. Fans of the film will find a quality UHD presentation to go along with it. It's definitely the version to buy if considering this versus the wide release.
