Venom: Let There Be Carnage 4K Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras  3.5 of 5

Sony's flat matte SteelBook depicts Carnage and Venom at one another's throats on the front, Carnage on the left, his head near the center line, and Venom on the top right. The front cover features these identifiable faces and there is a whole lot snarly, sinewy, slimy stuff all over the place, with a lot of red and black defining the space. The film's title appears center bottom, "Venom" in large shiny silvery letters and "Let There Be Carnage" in smaller white letters. The rear panel is not a mirror image but rather the same image just zoomed in to focus more exclusively on the character faces. The spine is a flat black color with the film's title, just as it appears on the front, centered. A Sony pictures logo appears at the bottom.

Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features, once again, Carnage on the left and Venom on the right, getting after one another with tongues and teeth and more slimy and sinewy Stuff all over the place.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation  4.0 of 5

This is an interesting SteelBook. There's practically no variation on the exterior panels and the inside shows basically the same thing as the outside: it's very focused to be sure but fans should enjoy the intricate artwork. The movie is decent enough and the A/V presentation is solid. Recommended for fans.
