"A female Vice President?" some may have asked when Veep premiered back in 2012, perhaps even adding, "Now that's funny". Whether or not the mere idea of a female at the highest echelons of American power struck you personally as outlandish, and really maybe even irrespective of your own political leanings, Veep turned out to be one of the most consistently hilarious and well written sitcoms of its era. Unlike many series which have had kind of haphazard releases on Blu-ray, HBO and Warner Brothers Home Entertainment kept fans satisfied with yearly Blu-ray sets of each individual season of the long running show, and now they're back with this "all inclusive" compendium.

Supplements included with each season are detailed in the above linked reviews. This set is somewhat awkwardly packaged in an oversized keepcase with the discs supposedly stacked on spindles. If your set arrives like mine did, prepare to open a keepcase full of loose discs. The sleeve offers an inner print listing all the episodes of each season. Everything is housed in a slipbox.

Veep: The Complete Series Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation 

"A female President?", some may be asking as this series wends its way to its hilarious conclusion. This is the rare show that may delight even those with diametrically opposed political beliefs. Technical merits are generally secure and the supplements, while variant through the many seasons of the show, are enjoyable. There's no need to double dip if you already own every season, unless you maybe want to save a little shelf space (not much, considering how oversized this is). For those who didn't pick up the individual release, though, this complete set comes Recommended.
