Disney and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive UHD SteelBook release for Director M. Night Shyamalan's superb 2000 film 'Unbreakable.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the UHD wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Disney's smooth and glossy SteelBook will display some handling fingerprints. The front image depicts both main characters -- David Dunn and Mr.
Glass -- layered on one another. Dunn is standing, seen from about the knees to the head, wearing his poncho and the eyes in shadow. Glass is seen
more
in a facial close-up, his eyes center on Dunn's chest. He has a very stoic look on his face. A deep purple background lines the edges and a shattered
glass effect covers much of the panel. The rear side is deeply purple tinted and features some comic book panels, much like some of the artwork Glass
sells in his shop. The spine is black with the film's title in white and in its familiar script center. An UltraHD logo has been placed at the top and a small
Touchstone Pictures logo appears at the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features identical images on both the right and left sides, but they are flipped
one to the other. Mr.
Glass, bathed in purple in his wheelchair, is upright on the top left while a poncho-wearing David Dunn, his background more of a teal color, is upside
down on the bottom. The images are flipped on the right so Dunn is on top and right-side up while Glass is on the bottom upside down. There is some
shattered glass running along the center which also appears to be identical and flipped on both sides.
The on-disc supplements are identical to those found on the 2008 disc. Please click here for full coverage.
Not only is this a very attractive and well designed SteelBook, the movie is terrific -- arguably the best in Shyamaln's career (though this reviewer cannot wait for a UHD release of Signs) -- and the UHD looks and sound fantastic, too. It's a shame there are no new extras but this is a fine package in total. Very highly recommended.
