Disney and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive UHD/Blu-ray SteelBook release for the classic 1995 digitally animated film 'Toy Story.' The set includes the same disc and digital content as found in the wide release packaging. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more. Also available are UHD SteelBooks for 'Toy Story 2' and 'Toy Story 3.'

Toy Story's SteelBook thrives on simplicity. It features a predominantly, and colorfully, blue background. An image of Buzz and Woody in the
claw machine game, surrounded by a handful of the claw machine aliens, with the claw lurking above, appears center. The film's title is situated above,
also center, and the words "Toy Story" are debossed. The rear side is much the same, but the title is, of course, gone, replaced by a lone yellow ball
with a blue stripe around its middle and a red star on the upward facing yellow space. Unobtrusive copyright and model number text appear at the
bottom. The spine shakes things up, ditching the blue color in favor of a bright green hue. The film's title (with the words "Disney Pixar" as on the
front) appears center. An UltraHD logo is situated at the bottom. The SteelBook is made of a smooth, slick, glossy material that is prone to
fingerprinting.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features Buzz "flying" through the air while carrying Woody. Most of the image
is hidden under the discs; only the characters' feet, a bit of Woody's left hand, and part of Buzz's wing poke into the left-hand side. The background is
a
steady sky blue color.

Toy Story's SteelBook is appropriately colorful and cool. The debossed title work is a nice touch. Along with the other two films in the series, this will make for a great addition to any SteelBook library. Hopefully the inevitable SteelBook for Toy Story 4 will follow the same design parameters. Very highly recommended.
