When their owner clears out his bedroom in preparation for starting college, Woody, Buzz and the rest of the toy-box gang are dumped in the donations box at a local nursery school and find themselves at the mercy of a horde of wild, sticky-fingered toddlers. As they struggle to stay together while coping with the chaos, the gang meet a new bunch of toys led by pink teddy bear Lotso, while Barbie is at last united with her male counterpart, Ken. The yearning to return home cannot be ignored, however, and many comical adventures ensue as the toys make a series of elaborate escape attempts.

Disney and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive UHD/Blu-ray SteelBook release for 2010's wonderful digitally animated film 'Toy Story 3.' The set includes the same disc and digital content as found in the wide release packaging. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more. Also available are UHD SteelBooks for 'Toy Story' and 'Toy Story 2.'

Toy Story 3's SteelBook thrives on simplicity. It features a predominantly, and colorfully, light green background color. A lower center image
depicts cartoonish representations of Woody and Buzz climbing out of a cardboard box. The film's
title appears above,
also center, and the words "Toy Story" and the number "3" are debossed. The rear side is much the same, but the title is, of course, gone, replaced by
an image of the film's villain, Lotso, slowly walking away with his back to the viewer, holding his walking stick in his right paw while his left is
outstretched.
Unobtrusive copyright and model number text appear at the
bottom. The spine shakes things up, ditching the green color in favor of a blue hue. The film's title (with the words "Disney Pixar" as on the
front) appears center. An UltraHD logo is situated at the bottom. The SteelBook is made of a smooth, slick, glossy material that is prone to
fingerprinting.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features several main characters tumbling out of a cardboard box. Included are
depictions of Bullseye, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, Hamm, Jessie, Woody, Barbie, Rex, Buzz, and Slinky Dog.

Toy Story 3's SteelBook is appropriately colorful and cool. The debossed title work is a nice touch. Along with the other two films in the series, this will make for a great addition to any SteelBook library. Hopefully the inevitable SteelBook for Toy Story 4 will follow the same design parameters. Very highly recommended.
