The star of many high-profile feature-film productions, including the critically-acclaimed Sweet Smell of Success (1957), Curtis became a cultural icon to American film fans. The actor was known for his natural charisma. A beloved performer who contributed a great deal to classic Hollywood cinema.

The Tony Curtis collection is worth a look. The set has two impressive films: The Perfect Furlough and 40 Pounds of Trouble. The Great Impostor is less consistent but Curtis die-hards may wish to take a look anyway (and decide for themselves). Kino Lorber has assembled an impressive collection. Recommended.
