The Carleton family will do anything for money...except work. Taken in by a rich, lonely old lady, George-Anne Carleton (Janet Gaynor), the savvy and cynical baby of the family, hatches the perfect plan -- the Carletons will pretend to be the decent people their hostess is sure they are, in the hopes that she'll rewrite her will in their favor!
