Just a few weeks after Lionsgate offered a so-called "wide release" of The Twilight Saga: The Complete Collection on 1080 discs, the studio is once again partnering with Best Buy for a series of exclusive SteelBook releases presenting the Twilight films in 4K (with 1080 discs included), offering the first chance fans of the Twilight franchise have to experience the sequels in that format (Lionsgate previously released Twilight 4K way back in 2018, and the disc(s) in this set seem to be the same as the first 4K release). Potentially adding to the value of this set is the fact that all of the 1080 versions are the two disc releases, and the 4K UHD discs have all received upgraded Dolby Atmos audio.

On disc supplements are detailed in the above linked reviews. I have included photos of all of the SteelBooks (as well as the front and back of the slipcase) in this review for those interested. The slipcase is slotted so that each individual SteelBook has its own separate "cubby", which can actually make getting the SteelBooks out of the slipbox a little challenging. Digital copies are also included.

The SteelBooks in this set are uniformly handsome and evocative, and the fact that Lionsgate has upgraded audio to Atmos and provided the two disc versions of the 1080 releases should certainly help to make this release appealing to franchise fans, though this is another case where my long running joke about Lionsgate trying to pawn off 1080 "remainders" with a 4K release may be true, since some of these 1080 versions are old enough they still come with the "Blu-ray is a new format, beware!" warnings. While this is obviously a release for a niche (if at one time huge) market, if you are in that demographic, especially if you've been jonesin' for the sequels in 4K and are also a SteelBook fan, this set should suffice quite handily.
