Paramount has released a Blu-ray/UHD combo SteelBook packaging variant for the classic 1956 film 'The Ten Commandments.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the three-disc UHD wide release, with the exception that this release includes the third Blu-ray disc (and the fourth total) with the 1923 film and the additional features from that disc that was originally included with the 2011 Blu-ray boxed set. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Paramount's glossy-smooth SteelBook features a predominately red color spectrum on its exterior casing. On the front, left of center, is Moses holding
the Ten Commandments, one stone slab in each arm. The film's title is pushed right of center, though the word "Commandments" fills much of the
width. The rear panel features Pharaoh looking very regal and stately, standing tall, legs spread, scepter in one hand, a blade in the other. The spine is
likewise a red color with the film's title a bit above the center line. A Paramount logo appears at the top and an UltraHD logo at the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code floats. There are four discs, one each on its own hub on the left and right and two more on either side of a middle,
moveable leaf. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features a rendition of Moses holding up his staff as the waters miraculously part to let the
fleeing Hebrews escape the pursuing Egyptians.

Finally, the complete The Ten Commandments experience in one place. This is the best of everything: the 1956 film on Blu-ray and UHD, the fourth disc with the 1923 film and all of those additional extras, and a gorgeous SteelBook case to boot. What's not to love? Highest recommendation.
