An entertaining follow-up with more Pet-tastic misadventures

Picking up after the events of the first film, The Secret Life of Pets 2 is another worthwhile family-friendly experience which follows the adventures of the spirited dog Max (Patton Oswalt) as he sets out on a new journey into the big city. As the storytelling dramatically unfolds, audiences experience even more excitement and mystery with the secret lives of their household pets coming into play at each turn of the page. Featuring great animation and a fantastic voice-cast which also includes Kevin Hart, Harrison Ford, Jenny Slate, Tiffany Haddish, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, and Ellie Kemper, The Secret Life of Pets 2 3D is worth a watch with its zany pet adventures. A must-see family-friendly 3D production.

The Secret Life of Pets 2 3D Blu-ray Movie, Video Quality 

The Secret Life of Pets 2 arrives on 3D Blu-ray with a 1080p MPEG-4 MVC encoded high definition presentation in the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1 widescreen. 3D fans can rejoice with the knowledge that the release has received an outstanding presentation. Color reproduction is excellent with outstanding detail. The 3D depth is enormously impressive and adds to the impressiveness of the filmmaking.

The clarity and detail on display is often astonishing to behold and the presentation is never disappointing. I noticed no distracting ghosting, crosstalk, loss in resolution, and other such imperfections. The image is never too dim. Brightness is superb. Vibrant colors and astonishing depth are constantly at the forefront of the presentation. 3D fans and true believers will love the outstanding picture-quality. The best way to experience the film.

The release includes an absorbing Dolby Atmos soundtrack that is every-bit the perfect match for the immaculate 3D video presentation. The track is astonishingly detailed and has truly great use of sound effects. Dialogue is crisp and clear throughout. A cute, fun, and charming family-friendly film which wears its heart on its sleeve, The Secret Life of Pets 2 is a pure delight that has plenty to offer audiences of all ages. The film is never high-brow or as magnificent as a top-notch Pixar production but throughout the film there are plenty of jokes and references for pet fans and family members. Featuring outstanding 3D with amazing depth and color throughout, the release stands as the best way to experience the film. A must-own for 3D enthusiasts.
