Paramount has widely released a UHD SteelBook packaging variant for the hit 2002 Horror film 'The Ring,' starring Naomi Watts and Directed by
Gore Verbinski. The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the UHD

Paramount's SteelBook is glossy and dark. The front and rear panels alike take on the look of a snowy TV, replicating some of the key aesthetics from
the film. The front panel shows Samara in the well, center. The words "seven days" appear above and below the well. The rear panel is much the same
but shows dark terrain filling about half of the panel and a tree on top filling the top center. The spine is black with the film's title center in the familiar
scratched and scrawled style of handwriting. A Paramount scares logo appears at the top and a traditional Paramount logo appears at the bottom. This
SteelBook also includes a plastic slipcover with the film's title in a ring, top center. Black, inky streaks run down the front and back and fill most of each
side. The spines are similar to the SteelBook but also include the UltraHD and Blu-ray logos towards the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features a classic image from the film: Samara, one the left panel, sitting in the
empty asylum room with blank, nondescript tiling and flooring all around her; the right side of the panel simply continues with the unsettling location
imagery.

The Ring 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

Paramount's SteelBook design is right on the money for this release. It's unique, it captures the look and tone of the film, and it will be a worthy add to
any SteelBook library, especially with a top-rated UHD disc inside. Recommended!
