Based on the Japanese light novel series created and written by Kiichi Kosuzu and with light novel character designs by Kihiro Yuzuki and collaborator Siso, The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World was also adapted into a manga by Toshinori Okazaki. Seika Lamprogue (Yumiri Hanamori) is a powerful exorcist who finds himself on the verge of death. With death knocking on Seika’a door, Seika doesn’t know what to do. In the blink of an eye, Seika manages to conjure up a powerful reincarnation spell to save his life.
The reincarnation spell works and Seika finds himself reborn in another world. This time around, the goal is to live a happier life and one free from the perils of his previous life. The quest for a newfound happiness through reincarnation may hit some unexpected road blocks as the Magic Academy has an abundance of monsters lurking around every corner of the Academy.
Yokai spirits are everywhere. It seems the road to peace will require some more magic by Seika. Can Seika defeat the monsters and reach his goal of achieving a peaceful existence?

The characters add to the series sense of scope. Seika Lamprogue makes for an interesting exorcist character. The character certainly is in over his head but exploring the world of spells at the Magic Academy. As the character builds on his exorcist legacy, the hero takes on the mantle as best as possible. Anyone who has ever faced obstacles on a quest in life (or even with a MMORPG) will be thrilled to see something relatable in the character and journey of Seika Lamprogue. Seika Lamprogue is no stranger to exorcism and the world of the magic so the series explores that more with the character and their time at the Magic Academy.
The character designs by Masayoshi Kikuchi and Sayaka Ueno are well-done. The designs certainly add to the production value of the series. The anime character designs fit the action-adventure storyline well. The designs are fun and enjoyable. While not the most original designs around, the designs nonetheless work well for the characters and add to the production.
The animation is one of the greatest strengths of The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World. The series has a colorful and robust animation style. The animation is certainly at the top of the series priorities. The animation direction and art direction play a big role in helping the series aesthetic unfold. The animation team gave their all to the production. The animators strived to bring out the best in the action-adventure series and provide a fun energy for the characters and the world they inhibit. The result is something more visually interesting. Background animation and line art add to the series style and the production feels larger in scope as a result.
The score composed by Arisa Okehazama (Beast Tamer, Jujutsu Kaisen) is a nice part of the series, too. The music by Okehazama adds to the production. The score works a solid background to the action sequences and to the sense of adventure. Action fans will certainly appreciate these qualities. The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far is a solid score for the anime. Adrenaline-packed scenes and moments are enhanced by the solid score.

The action and adventure aspects are amplified by the direction by Nagayama and Shibuya. The directors have fun with the adrenaline-packed elements of the series. The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far might not be a modern classic but it has some fun to offer fans of shonen anime.

The best bonus feature on the release is the mini anime episodes. It is nice to see a somewhat more impressive supplement added to the release. Certainly, fans will appreciate having the mini anime episodes alongside the main presentation. The set could have added even more value with some additional bonus features, too – audio commentaries and behind-the-scenes documentaries or engaging cast/crew interviews would have been appreciated. Nonetheless, kudos to Crunchyroll for providing the mini anime.
