Wang Hsu (as Kuo Chui) (Phillip Chung-Fung Kwok) works at a popular brothel, Chi Chun-Peng (Meng Lo) works at a martial arts school, and Yu Wen-San (Sheng Chiang) works at a gambling house. Things escalate as a political-thriller unfolds with epic kung-fu battles.

The Rebel Intruders also impresses with solid art direction by Johnson Tsao (The 36th Chamber of Shaolin, The Battle for the Republic of China). The production merits are well-done and certainly contribute a lot to the film on the whole.
One of the other strengths of The Rebel Intruders comes from the quality of the hair styling by Yen-Lien Peng (The Figures from Earth, Hong Kong Godfather). The Rebel Intruders also features makeup by Hsu-Ching Wu (The Sword Stained with Royal Blood, Heroes Shed No Tears). The costumes are by Chi-Yu Liu (The 36th Chamber of Shaolin, An Amorous Woman of Tang Dynasty). There are a lot of worthwhile production merits to appreciate with these design elements. The hair and makeup help enhance the style throughout the film while the costumes bring to life the characters in the Shaw Brothers legacy style.
The stunts coordinated by Sheng Chiang (The Nine Demons, Thrilling Bloody Sword), Phillip Chung-Fung Kwok (The Bride with White Hair, The Blue Jean Monster), and Feng Lu (Legend of the Fox, The Sword Stained with Royal Blood) are excellent and essential to the filmmaking. The stuntwork is top-notch. Stunts add so much to the film and enhance the action-packed mayhem.
