The Peanut Butter Solution (1985)

A strange comedy adventure about a young boy named Michael who goes bald from fright when he witnesses something horrible inside a decrepit old house. With the help of two frendly ghosts and their “Peanut Butter Solution”, Michael’s hair starts to grow back at a rapid rate – and is soon out of control! But with the help of his sister and best friend Connie (Siluk Saysanasy, otherwise known as Yick Yu from Degrassi) Michael’s unusually flowing mane will soon lead him to discover the sinister secret of the old house. Une comédie échevelée aux dimensions incroyables… Le héros du film, Michael, a 11 ans et décide de jeter un coup d’œil dans une maison qu’il croyait hantée et qui vient d’être détruite par le feu. Ce qu’il voit lui fait tellement peur qu’il s’évanouit. Deux jours plus tard – comble de malheur –, il perd tous ses cheveux. Deux fantômes lui donnent alors une recette magique pour les faire repousser. Toutefois, Michael abusera de l’un des ingrédients, le beurre de pinottes, avec des résultats étonnants!
