Overview

The Outsider (2020)

A seemingly straightforward investigation into the gruesome murder of an 11-year-old boy, whose body is found mutilated in the Georgia woods. Eyewitnesses and physical evidence all point to popular high school teacher Terry Maitland (Jason Bateman). But police detective Ralph Anderson (Ben Mendelsohn) is baffled by the emergence of contradictory evidence and, in an attempt to explain the unexplainable, brings in an unorthodox private investigator with uncanny abilities.
