Mill Creek has released the 1995 Sandra Bullock cyber-thriller 'The Net' and its unnecessary and unrelated sequel 'The Net 2.0' to Blu-ray as part of a two-film collection. Both films share a single BD-50 disc. Picture quality for both films is atrocious and the audio tracks are pedestrian at best. No extras are included. Sony released the original film back in 2017 as part of its "Choice Collection" line. This is the Blu-ray debut for 'The Net 2.0.'

No supplements are included. The main menu screen only allows for movie selection and a button to toggle the English SDH subtitles on and off. Note that the Sony disc for The Net does include a 20-minute featurette.

The Net / The Net 2.0 Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation 

This is a bad release with the only silver lining being that the original movie is still a fairly good watch all these years later. The "sequel" is terrible and so are the video presentations for each film. The audio tracks are passable but Sony's lossless track is superior. No extras are included, either. Skip it.
