Overview

The Left Hand of God (1955)

Fleeing the clutches of a Chinese warlord in 1947, American flyer Jim Carmody dons the robes of a recently murdered Catholic priest and makes his way to a remote village. Arriving at the local mission, "Father O'Shea" is pressed into service by the needy people. His plight is complicated by a beautiful nurse, who believes she is committing a mortal sin by falling in love with a man of God.
