The Goonies 4K Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras
The Goonies UHD SteelBook is smooth but not exceedingly glossy; extreme fingerprinting display will not be a problem. Black and white and a
little gray and bronze are the only tones to be found. Prominently on the front is a skull with crossed swords underneath. "Never Day Die" text wraps
around below
the swords, sort of in the shape of a smile. The film's title appears in the familiar script top center along with Steven Spielberg and Richard Donner
names. The rear panel depicts the doubloon from the film center but a bit above the X-axis. The background black coloring shows some wear behind it,
too, appearing a bit more bronze and gray. A white billing block consumes the bottom third. The spine is black with the film's title, as it appears on the
front, a bit
above center. A Warner Brothers logo at the bottom adds the only real color to any part of the SteelBook's exterior.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features a still depicting the film's four main characters, from left to right:
Mouth, Mikey, Data, and Chunk. Mouth is holding a treasure map and Data is pointing towards the distance. The background consists of a washed out
sky.

The Goonies 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation
The Goonies is one of those quintessential 80s movies that has finally earned a very well rounded UHD and SteelBook release. The film looks and sounds good on the 4K format and the SteelBook is simple but a treat. Highly recommended.
