Danish director Lars von Trier challenges his friend and mentor Jørgen Leth to create five new versions of The Perfect Human, a short film Leth directed in 1967. Each new version is defined by a creative complication (or "obstruction") devised by von Trier, including filming one in Cuba and creating another using animation.
