It wasn't all that long ago that Lionsgate partnered with Best Buy to offer a matched set of SteelBook releases for The Expendables 4K, The Expendables 2 4K and The Expendables 3 4K, with a matching Expend4bles 4K SteelBook due at Best Buy tomorrow (as this review is being written), but Lionsgate is also switching things up a bit by offering a four film collection with four 4K UHD and four 1080 discs, with a completely different (and in my not so humble opinion, superior looking) SteelBook through Wal-Mart.

On disc supplements are detailed in the above linked reviews. If the Best Buy SteelBooks were relatively minimally designed, with repeated bird imagery and a variety of solid colors, this particular SteelBook offers a much more visceral illustration that spans the front and back covers. I've provided several photos of the cover and mylar O-ring for those interested. The discs are stacked inside (and not so surprisingly my review copy arrived with several discs off of both spindles, roaming relatively freely in the packaging). A digital copy is also included.

Fans of SteelBooks actually have their choice with this series, but in my estimation, this particular one has by far the most arresting cover imagery.
