The Bridge: Seizoen 4 (2018)
A woman has been stoned to death on Peberholm, a small Danish island near the Øresund Bridge. The victim is Margrethe Thormod, director of a migration agency in Copenhagen, who was recently embroiled in a deportation scandal. Together with his Danish colleague Jonas Mandrup, Detective Henrik Sabroe begins an investigation into the gruesome murder. But Henrik misses his colleague and friend Saga, who is serving a sentence in the women's prison in Ystadt for the murder of her mother. He visits her as often as he can and misses her support with the new case. However, due to her situation, she cannot help him. Henrik's search for his missing daughters is also hampered by Saga's imprisonment, and he is on the verge of giving up. But despite old wounds and new setbacks, their special friendship endures.
