Reviewed by Martin Liebman September 22, 2022
Paramount has widely released a UHD SteelBook packaging variant for the 1991 film 'The Addams Family.' The disc and digital content is identical
to that found in the wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below
for
more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

The Addams Family 4K Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras

Paramount's SteelBook is smooth and will show some light handling fingerprints, especially in the darker areas The front panel features the Addams
Family gathered center for a portrait. The colors are limited to black, white, and purple. The family is standing gathered close together with Lurch
brushing the dust off the film's title in the familiar script, large and green top center. Everyone else is facing forward. There is a tile floor and a mild
reflection at the bottom. The rear panel features the Addams Family home exterior, center. A purple sky sits above and a purple mist hiver below it.
Bare tree
branches appear to the right. A studio logo and some legalese appear bottom right. The spine is purple with the film's title in green, center. A
Paramount logo appears at the top and an UltraHD logo at the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The lone UHD disc is situated on the right on a central hub. The inner print
is
a two-panel spread that features an artistic rendering of the Addams family featuring all of the main characters in various poses.

The Addams Family 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

This is a decent SteelBook overall; there's not much of a unique flavor about it, but the colors are nice, and the image are workable. The UHD is terrific
and one of the best for pure picture quality to come out in the last couple of years. Recommended for fans and those who have yet to pick up this film
on the UHD format.
