Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D is an exciting action-adventure adaptation of the beloved comic (which also resulted in multiple other animated series and feature-films over the years). Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by and Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D is produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures. Featuring the voices of Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, Brady Noon, Ayo Edebiri, Jackie Chan, Ice Cube, John Cena, and Seth Rogen.
The journey is never over for the beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – the turtles in a half shell. The epic adventures of the team of teenage “turtle-power” superheroes unites Donatello (Micah Abbey), Michelangelo (Shamon Brown Jr.), Leonardo (Nicolas Cantu), and Raphael (Brady Noon). The turtle family create their own future – a future of ass-kicking heroics.
The turtles are also joined by ace journalistic reporter April O’Neil (Ayo Edebiri). The teenage turtles learn from the master Splinter (Jackie Chan) – a giant mutant rat with an unexpected sense of wisdom. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles unite against their enemies – including the arrival of villains Superfly (Ice Cube), Rocksteady (John Cena), and Bebop (Seth Rogen). Can the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles win the day and stop the villains from overtaking New York City?

The voice-acting is top-notch and played a big role in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D feature-film. The voice cast does a terrific job with the production. There are numerous wonderful voice performances and the end result is an even more enjoyable feature-film. The cast has fun with playing their respective parts and each Ninja Turtle is brought to life well. Jackie Chan is full of heart, pathos, and wonder – adding so much to the role of the master Splinter. Seth Rogen also has great fun performing the comedic part of Bebop. Perhaps the great scene-stealer, though, is none other than Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D features solid production design elements that help enhance the animation and the style of the filmmaking. The production designs by Yashar Kassai are impressive. The art direction by Arthur Fong adds a lot of charm to the film, too. These aesthetic qualities manage to provide a wide canvas sensibility to the filmmaking.
Edited by Greg Levitan (The Mitchells vs. the Machines), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D is well- paced throughout. Levitan is a solid editor and someone with a great stye in this essential production role. The editing flows well and the film has a great pace, too. There is much to love and appreciate.
Composed by Trent Reznor (Challengers, Bones and All) and Atticus Ross (Soul, The Social Network), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D is a beautifully composed feature. The music is engaging, fun, and memorable. The original score is terrific and showcases the brilliance of both Reznor and Ross. Reznor and Ross are two of the most gifted musicians turned film composers in Hollywood. It is always a joy to experience new music from these talents. The music crescendos and find a perfect balance for the action sequences. The backdrop of the production is all the better as a result – the remarkable ninja moves of the turtles highlighted with appropriate whimsy.
Featuring cinematography by Kent Seki (Rumble), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D is a beautiful looking film aesthetically. The cinematography highlights the wonderful visuals in spades – the results are tremendous. There is so much to appreciate about the feature-film and the crisp style of the cinematography. The bold aesthetic works well throughout Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D.
The animation is a joy throughout Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D. The animation style is the most distinct and memorable quality of the production. The art style is unlike anything produced in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe before – at least as far as the films are concerned, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem brings a compelling visual sensibility that is an entirely unique one. The magic of the art style is that the animation looks a lot like traditional hand drawn animation – certainly more-so than a typical CG animated feature-film – while still providing the modern aesthetic qualities of CG animation, too. The sketch animation quality works well throughout and gives a comic-book style that some will feel is a perfect tribute to the original comics.
Written by Seth Rogen (Superbad, Pineapple Express), Evan Goldberg (Superbad, The Green Hornet), Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs. the Machines, Gravity Falls), Dan Hernandez (Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, The Addams Family 2), and Benji Samit (Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, The Addams Family 2), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D is a wonderful script with great dialogue and superb storytelling. The screenplay provides fun moments for the entire cast of characters. The story manages to provide the perfect backstory, origin, and world building needed to establish a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated universe. With Seth Rogen at the helm of pitching the reboot, it is unsurprising that there are so many wonderful jokes and throwbacks to the original animated series.
Directed by Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs. the Machines) and Kyler Spears (Amphibia), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D is a must-see for any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D is a blast from start to finish. The filmmaking is terrific throughout and the heart of the film is something that will inspire audiences. The magic of the movies is on full display with this perfect adaptation of the beloved ninja turtles.

Released on 3D Blu-ray by Turbine Media, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem is presented in 1080p MPEG-4 MVC encoded high-definition in the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.39:1 widescreen. The animation is crisp and colorful on the release. The cinematography is well reproduced. The high-definition video is an impressive accomplishment throughout the feature-film and encoding is top-notch.
There is so much to cherish about the visuals. Of course, the highlight of the release is the 3D. The 3D picture quality is phenomenal and the presentation manages to best the theatrical exhibition. When viewed on my reference-grade OLED65E6P, the 3D effects are outstanding from beginning to end.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D features plenty of impressive pop out 3D visual effects throughout. The pop out effects make the 3D transfer all the more entertaining. The depth is immersive and absorbing, too.
The sense of wonder and magic in the 3D is the balance between these pop out visuals and the 3D depth. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D is reference quality and there are numerous scenes throughout the film where the visuals are significantly enhanced by the 3D presentation. For 3D enthusiasts, the 3D Blu-ray option is the best way to experience the film. An outstanding release.

The release is presented in Dolby Atmos surround sound. The Atmos surround sound is dynamic and engaging throughout the entire feature-film presentation. There is a lot of creativity on display in regards to the soundstage. Surrounds are actively used throughout and each channel in the audio presentation is well balanced.
The score is integrated well into the surround presentation, too. An impressive sense of immersive detail is present in the Atmos mixing. The atmospheric audio quality provides greater channel separation and fine detail. It is a top-notch sound mix and the sound designers deserve top accolades for such an immersive presentation.
One of the great joys of the Blu-ray format is the lossless audio. The lossless encoding allows for home theater enthusiasts and audiophiles to experience lossless, theater quality sound at home. This is an essential quality of physical media. Streaming video services are limited to lossy (non- lossless) audio quality. Even for major new releases, the Atmos audio on streaming services – which tends to be the best audio quality streaming services provide – is still limited to CD quality. The 3D Blu-ray disc and physical media options provide a significantly wider soundstage, vastly improved bit-rates, and a better noise-floor with 24-bit depth encoding. The difference is anything but subtle on a release like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D.

The 3D Blu-ray release includes no on-disc supplemental features. Turbine Media has decided to not include any bonus features on their 3D Blu-ray releases. The logic is that fans can purchase separately (or might already own) other Blu-ray/4K editions with on-disc bonus features. The 3D Blu-ray is devoted to providing optional video and audio bit-rates for the best possible 3D presentation.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D is such incredible fun and is one of the best films in the franchise. Fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles won't be able to resist this superb work of art and what the animated film brings to the fandom. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem 3D is a blast from beginning to end. The voice-work is perfect and each character is brought to life by their respective voice actors. The 3D Blu-ray features stunning 3D visuals – with perfect 3D depth and great pop out effects. The 3D Blu-ray is a must-own for 3D enthusiasts. Highly recommended.
