We normally don't review store exclusive titles that are also being widely distributed by way of a standard edition sold at all outlets, but with the immense popularity of the 'Star Wars' franchise and the new films under the Disney regime in particular, we've decided to offer a real-world glimpse at some of the store exclusives available to buy beyond the standard wide release, which has been reviewed here. Skip below to the "Supplements" section on this page for a review of the Disney Store exclusive.
This Disney Store exclusive release contains the same Blu-ray video transfer as the wide release counterpart. Please click here for a full video review.

Most of these store exclusive Star Wars releases are fairly predictable -- Best Buy is going to have a SteelBook, Target some sort of additional bonus content -- and Disney's is perhaps the most
predictable of all. Since The Force Awakens, the store's exclusive has been a vanilla copy of the Blu-ray bundled with attractive, presentable
lithographs. Those for both the aforementioned The Force Awakens and Rogue One were well received, and the biggest difference has been the
lack of embossing on the from folder sleeve on both Rogue One and, now here, The Last Jedi.
The four lithographs are impressive, large and commanding of attention. They're essentially the same as the previous releases in terms of size and
material structure and image quality, complete with the Disney Store exclusive seal on the bottom left and the white border. Images include Finn
clashing with Phasma,
Rey looking outward to the sea on Ahch-To, Chewbacca and a Porg in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, and a masked Kylo Ren in
profile against a red backdrop in Snoke's chambers. The four are housed in a sturdy folder, the front featuring a familiar Last Jedi character
collage against the Crait surface while the back is a basic star field. Inside the folder is an awesomely large image of several First Order walkers on
Crait's surface, waiting to put an end to the Resistance once and for all.
This set simply ships with the standard Blu-ray in the box with the lithographs, which does include a Movies Anywhere digital copy code.
For pure displayable content, this Disney Store exclusive beats out the others, as it does every year. The four lithographs are impressive, though it's a shame the best image of the bunch, the one featuring the walkers on Crait, isn't one of the four (replacing, say the Porg). It's a wonderful image in its own right that deserves more than the inside of a folder. Nevertheless, recommended.
