A gripping account of the prisoners uprising at the Nazi extermination camp of Sobibor in 1943. Using an interview granted by Yehuda Leme in Jerusalem in 1979 during the filming of “Shoah”, Claude Lanzman made this documentary. Lerne describes how the only successful uprising took place in a Nazi extermination camp in Poland.
