Way back in 2010 in our Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concerts Blu-ray review, I confessed (unashamedly, I should add) to being a "Time Life junkie", and one of the elements of that kind of weird and maybe amusing addiction is the need for "complete sets". Time Life has come to the rescue of completists like yours truly who maybe fret just slightly obsessively about having everything associated with a certain "series", and this new set may appeal to either those who weren't previously aware of these releases and who want an instant library of incredible performances, or for those who may not have gotten around to purchasing all three of the linked releases contained in this new set.

Supplements included with each release (if any) are listed in the above linked reviews. The score above reflects the fact that spread over the entire six discs, there's less on disc supplemental material than some might have hoped; the supplements themselves are excellent, as can be gleaned from my comments in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concerts Blu-ray review, where, because those supplements were included on a two disc set, I gave a substantially higher score.

According to our current price tracker, there is a pretty hefty savings if you buy this set rather than three previous standalone releases, and in fact this set is so attractively priced, even if you've bought one previous release, it may still save you money to get this one. One way or the other, this is a magnificent set of performances and inductions into the Hall of Fame, and any lover of some of the most memorable music of the past several decades will find lots to enjoy here. Technical merits are solid, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: In Concert Collection comes Highly recommended.
