Arrow has released 'Robocop' in wide release SteelBook packaging. The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the standard packaging release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Robocop's front cover SteelBook artwork simply repurposes the iconic original artwork that dates back to the film's release. It depicts Robocop
standing on his left leg which is outside of the police car, the right bent and still inside the vehicle. A blurry city background fills the extra space behind.
The film's title in
familiar color and type appears bottom center. The image is subtly reflective/metallic. It looks great. The rear panel depicts Robocop in an action pose,
gun drawn, aiming at a target not seen on the panel. A run-down building and parking lot set the scene behind, dominated by a billboard proclaiming
that in Delta City, "The Future Has a Silver Lining." MGM and Arrow logos and legalese appear in white type at the bottom. The spine is a glossy black
with the
film's title appearing center. An Arrow logo appears at the top and MGM and Blu-ray logos are joined by a model number below. The front and rear
panels are
smooth and glossy and will attract and show fingerprints.
Inside, the comprehensive booklet and a thick one-sheet advertisement for Arrow are tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two Blu-ray discs
are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that depicts the board room in which ED-209 is about to kill OCP
executive Kinney with a barrage of bullets.

Arrow's SteelBook is a beautiful presentation of simplicity. The front cover reproduces an iconic poster artwork without clutter, without added fuss. The rear panel is a little bland. The interior spread replicates one of the iconic moments from the movie. The movie is a legend and Arrow's two-disc Blu-ray set is a delight. Very highly recommended.
