Zavvi is offering a Limited SteelBook edition of Arrow's release of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Interestingly, this packaging contains the SteelBook inside a slipbox (though evidently with a different image than the one adorning Arrow's standard packaging of their 4K UHD release of the film), probably so that some abundant non disc swag can be included. (Arrow sent a standalone SteelBook for purposes of this review, but Zavvi's website clearly shows a slipbox and non disc swag, and Arrow has confirmed that is how this is packaged.) But also interestingly, the SteelBook release offers both a 2160 and 1080 disc, something that Arrow tends not to package together that often, making this a perhaps more attractive package for some fans. This review will focus on the SteelBook packaging, but there are links below to my reviews of the standard packaging of both the 1080 and 2160 releases of the film from Arrow.

Both on disc and non disc supplements are detailed in the above linked reviews. Additionally, this SteelBook offers a nicely designed cover that features images of Costner, Mastrantonio and Freeman (along with some of "and the rest") on the front and Rickman and the rest of "and the rest" on the back, with a predominance of rather dark tones in the brown and black range. The inside cover has some whimsical line art.
Arrow tends to offers its 1080 and 4K UHD releases of the same film as "standalone" products, and so this SteelBook may provide some fans with the best of both worlds. The SteelBook itself is nicely designed with some good character art. See my reviews for specifics on the technical specs, which are generally solid, and the supplements, which are very enjoyable. Recommended.
